Your money data, handled with care.

Here is what Rispense keeps, where it keeps it and what it never touches. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.

Stays on your phone

  • Bank and UPI notifications and bank SMS, read on the device
  • Suggestions you have not reviewed yet
  • Notification access, which you can switch off at any time

Syncs to your account

  • Your account details
  • Transactions you confirm, plus bills, budgets and goals
  • AI conversations, only if you turn the assistant on

Never

  • Raw message text stored, on the phone or on our servers
  • A connection to your bank account or your bank login
  • Access to your contacts or your SMS inbox
  • Your data sold or used for ads

How a payment becomes a record

    A payment notification arrives

    From one of the bank or UPI apps on Rispense’s list.

    Rispense reads it on your phone

    It pulls out the amount, the merchant and the date, then drops the raw text.

    You review it

    Edit it, confirm it or dismiss it. Nothing counts until you decide.

    The confirmed record syncs

    Only now does it reach your account and change safe-to-spend.

Where it is stored

Synced records live in our Cloudflare database. We ask Cloudflare to keep them in the Asia-Pacific region. That is a preference, not a guarantee.

How the AI sees it

The assistant is off by default. When you use it, the app works out the figures, and the model writes the words around them. The model never gets your full transaction history. Replies that contain numbers which do not match your figures are blocked.

Who can sign in

Sign-in requires a genuine copy of the app from Google Play. Sensitive actions such as changing your password or deleting your account need a fresh check.

What we log

Our servers do not log the text of your notifications, transactions or AI messages.
